Starting this spring they will be remodeling the library downtown. Personally I like the new design, it fits more with our historic town then the 1970s eyesore that exists now. The contruction is going to take 2 years and the library will temporarily be operating out of the closed CVS downtown. Here are the existing library picture and the proposed plan pictures. Let me know what you guys think!

Earlier in the year several people expressed interested in the city’s tree program, due to a lack of funding we never got our trees. The Arbor Day Foundation is a non-profit group dedicated to conservation of trees. For $10 they will send you 10 trees of these types -
- 10 Flowering Tree Mix
- 10 Colorado Blue Spruces
- 10 Trees Mix
- 10 Wild Bird Garden
- 10 Eastern Redcedars
- 10 Oak Trees
- 10 White Pines
- 10 Redbuds
- 10 Norway Spruces
- 10 Autumn Classics
- 10 White Dogwoods
You’ll also get a 6 month membership (won’t auto renew) to their site to order more trees/plants at a very affordable rate. I ordered 10 of the flowering trees myself. If you don’t have enough room to plant 10 trees you could give some to your neighbors!
