Earlier in the year several people expressed interested in the city’s tree program, due to a lack of funding we never got our trees. The Arbor Day Foundation is a non-profit group dedicated to conservation of trees. For $10 they will send you 10 trees of these types –
- 10 Flowering Tree Mix
- 10 Colorado Blue Spruces
- 10 Trees Mix
- 10 Wild Bird Garden
- 10 Eastern Redcedars
- 10 Oak Trees
- 10 White Pines
- 10 Redbuds
- 10 Norway Spruces
- 10 Autumn Classics
- 10 White Dogwoods
You’ll also get a 6 month membership (won’t auto renew) to their site to order more trees/plants at a very affordable rate. I ordered 10 of the flowering trees myself. If you don’t have enough room to plant 10 trees you could give some to your neighbors!
