Starting this spring they will be remodeling the library downtown. Personally I like the new design, it fits more with our historic town then the 1970s eyesore that exists now. The contruction is going to take 2 years and the library will temporarily be operating out of the closed CVS downtown. Here are the existing library picture and the proposed plan pictures. Hagerstown City Park is known as America's 2nd most beautiful park. The first most beautiful being Central Park in New York City. The park was designed by landscape architect George Burnap who helped design some of the landscapes in Central Park.
